Our veterinary nurses are the backbone of every patient's journey through Ormonde Veterinary. They play a vital role in anaesthesia during procedures, closely monitor our hospitalised patients and provide expert care and support at every stage of treatment.
Our nurses run a variety of clinics to help keep your pet healthy, including:
- Puppy and kitten checks : early advice on diet, behaviour and parasite prevention
- Adolescent health checks : guidance on growth, nutrition and training
- Geriatric checks : advice on senior pet care, mobility and comfort
- Pre-operative and post-operative checks : ensuring your pet is safe, comfortable and recovering well
- Second vaccinations
- Nail clipping and anal gland checks
- Dental checks
They can also carry out follow-up appointments for pets receiving ongoing treatments such as arthritis or skin injections, under the direction of a vet.Our nurses are always happy to provide advice on spaying and neutering, as well as general pet care and preventative health.
